Metal windows can often look to be in much worse condition than they actually are and can usually be restored to a good standard. Some of the main issues affecting metal windows are –

Rust/corrosion which occurs when the

surfaces of the windows are not maintained correctly.

Excessive paint build up

Failure of hinges and fittings

Fractures and distortion of frames.
